Jazzego is a record label from Porto founded by André Carvalho and Hugo Oliveira. “Jazzego” it’s a made-up term which the sonority plays with the portuguese word “jazigo”, that means tomb. Therefore, Jazzego intends to bury the music industry ego’s and be the place to lay dead genre boundaries.
It focus on the jazz grooves made in the city by those who express themselves through jazz but ain’t standard to be called jazz.
A mix of unlimited influences, this is the compelling sound of Jazzego Record Label.
