Neither-Neither is the solo expression of Valdemar Pereira — co-founder of Danzas Obsidiana and the Elliptica festival, with fifteen years of underground culture sedimented in his hands.

In his sets, time folds back on itself: a bronze funeral procession and a possession vigil find their mirror in a 90s rave and a teknival beneath the stars. The selection dissolves its own opposites — trance and stillness, body and absence, pulse and suspension — obeying an inner tension that certain sounds carry, regardless of their origin. The archive is the instrument. The logic that governs it is that of someone who listens to the entire world as a single, uninterrupted tradition.

Nos seus sets, o tempo dobra-se sobre si próprio: um cortejo fúnebre de bronze e uma vigília de possessão encontram o seu espelho numa rave dos anos 90 e num teknival sob as estrelas. A seleção dissolve os seus próprios contrários — transe e quietude, corpo e ausência, pulso e suspensão — obedecendo a uma tensão interior que certos sons carregam, independentemente da sua origem. O arquivo é o instrumento. A lógica que o governa é a de quem escuta o mundo inteiro como uma única tradição ininterrupta.
