There is a certain lethargy often attributed to contemporaneity and to those who inhabit it — an assumed inability to respond to the myriad collapses and fracturing moments that define the present age — yet it is not believed to describe the collective, whether understood as a society or as a tacit pact of autonomy in relation to it. The response to this is Restlessness.
A symptom of the present and of fleeting visions of the future, the anchor that still binds humanity to the past, restlessness exerts its control until the game is turned. On the streets of Paris, the youths who lifted the pavements in search of the beach once whispered: “Boredom won’t get me tonight.” And with that spirit, they set out into the arteries of Guimarães, pulsing with uncertainty and curiosity.
Restless, unsettled — a mantra for the spirit rather than the body. Committed to turning every corner into an adventure; every street, steeper; every stage, a space for disruption. Mucho Flow 2025 speaks of existence and persistence, of bending the norm and creating statistical anomalies — for normality is nothing more than the median of what is observed, the ultimate expression of a social lethargy bound solely to the present, misunderstanding it, and showing little concern for what lies ahead.

Há uma certa letargia que se aponta à contemporaneidade e a quem nela habita — uma incapacidade de reagir a todos os colapsos e momentos fracturantes a que se está sujeito —, mas que não se acredita descrever o coletivo, seja ele uma sociedade ou simplesmente um acordo tácito de autonomia em relação à mesma. A resposta surge sob a forma de Inquietação.
Sintoma do presente e dos vislumbres do futuro, âncora que ainda prende ao passado, a inquietação domina até que se inverta o jogo. Nas ruas de Paris sussurrava-se: “Boredom won’t get me tonight”, e é com esse espírito que se parte para as artérias de Guimarães, a pulsar incerteza e curiosidade.
Inquietos, desassossegados — um mantra para o espírito e não para o corpo. Um compromisso com tornar cada esquina uma aventura; cada rua, mais inclinada; cada palco, um espaço de disrupção. O Mucho Flow de 2025 é sobre existir e persistir, sobre desviar da norma e criar anomalias estatísticas; porque a normalidade não é senão a mediana do que se observa — a expressão máxima de uma letargia social comprometida apenas com o presente, que desconhece o presente e se desinteressa pelo devir.
