The Porto-based label Analytical Convenience continues its sonic journey with another EP, this time by Aäg, who delivers an immersive, drone-driven work. Bewitched EP unfolds like a dance of raw frequencies, creating a ritualistic atmosphere in which sound itself takes on the role of a shaman.
The tone of the work becomes calmer and more introspective. Layered basslines and vocal fragments lead the listener into a meditative state, opening a path towards the darker corners of the mind.
To complete the release, three remixers reshape this vision for the dancefloor. Floating Machine delivers his deep and powerful take on “Momento”. MGR96 follows with a reimagined version of the same track, stripping it down into a minimal yet groove-driven trip. Closing the EP, HYOS bends “Stuporous Catatonia” into a fast, cavernous, and textured gallop.

A editora portuense Analytical Convenience prossegue a sua viagem sonora com mais um EP, desta vez da autoria de Aäg, que apresenta uma obra imersiva e dominada por drones. Bewitched EP desenrola-se como uma dança de frequências cruas, criando uma atmosfera ritualística onde o som assume o papel de xamã.
A tonalidade do trabalho torna-se mais calma e introspectiva. As linhas de baixo sobrepostas e os fragmentos de voz conduzem o ouvinte a um estado meditativo, abrindo caminho para os recantos mais obscuros da mente.
Para encerrar o lançamento, três artistas convidados oferecem remisturas que adaptam esta visão à pista de dança. Floating Machine apresenta a sua abordagem profunda e poderosa de “Momento”. MGR96 propõe uma versão reimaginada da mesma faixa, depurada e orientada para um groove minimalista. Por fim, HYOS transforma “Stuporous Catatonia” num galope rápido, cavernoso e texturado.
